I plugged up my toilet

Here is a funny story!   While living with my cousin some time back,  I had all my tanks going, 2- 55's and 29.  Well I ended up losing a very large pleco.  he must have been 6 - 8 " long and at least 3 - 4' wide.  We lived in Garden City at the time.  I didn't want to just throw this thing out the window because I was affraid of the potential smell hazzard.  So I dropped it down the toilet.   BIG MISTAKE !   It got jammed in the neck of the toilet and caused a MAJOR flood in the house.  Needless to say after many hours of disassembly they found the culprit.  Boy was I embarrased.  My Uncle and Cousin gave me the dirtiest look that day.  Needless to say, I have not dumped any large fish down the toilet since.  I bet to this day they get together and that story still comes up !   Good thing he lives in Howell, I don't make it out that way much anymore. !

Has anybody thought of eating their big dead fish?  Come on, we know you have...cichlids taste like Bluegills!

I did the same thing with a large pleco. I had to have a plummer come out. After snaking and pulling the toilet out it was still clogged. Turnes out he had to snake from the soil stack on the roof somehow it got lodged in there. Needless to say it was like a 400 dollar plumming bill for flushing a dead fish. The wife was not too happy.
