Observation :  If you are backing up a boat to track a Marlin, wouldn't you be facing to the stern ?  That being said, when he feel, he would have fell backward onto the throttle lever causing the boat to lerch backwards.  What did he slip on a beer can or Tequila bottle ?  Heck the "Old man in the Sea" did a better job navigating than this moron !

According to what I read.....the Captain backed-up the boat as was common practice in big game fishing...he slipped and reversed in full throttle and took on to much water and the boat thusly foundered....it no longer in it's original floating on the H2O...lol...good thing the "Photo Boat" was there to rescue anyone on-board.  8)
