Water turn on party
« on: January 23, 2013, 05:31:37 PM »
Regalblue is planning on coming over Saturday (Jan 26) early evening to help work on my fish room.  At that point it should be in a position to turn the water on and see if my drip system works.  So I figured I would invite anyone that wanted to come see if it works or if my fish room will just be a big pool of water.

I figure I'll buy some pizza and beer too.  Stop by around 7pm.

I live basically at Duck Lake road & Cooley Lake road in Commerce, MI.  PM me if you plan to come and I'll send you my address and phone number.

When I read the title, i thought you were telling people that water "turned you on" LOL

Do you have any tanks to fill?

Probably a smart idea!  If they made waders in my size I'd probably be wearing some.

I don't have the tanks yet.  I ordered most of them and they are scheduled to be delivered 2/1/13.  This is simply to turn a couple valves and see what happens.  Hopefully it will be a collective "That's it???", but most likely its going to be a "OH *&^%!  TURN IT OFF!  TURN IT OFF!"  followed by a few repairs and trying again.

Stan - your more than welcome to come out!

Sounds like a plan.  :)  On Sat. 2/2 I plan on building racks, moving tanks from garage to basement, painting tanks, installing bulk heads, etc. etc.  Probably won't get to all of that on Saturday but will start on it at least.

Even though I had my chest waders on, I am still much shorter than Jeff and Blair so once the water almost reached the top of my waders, I had to climb up the stairs and go home...I sure hope those two are okay  :o :o :o :o

p.s. It is now almost 12:30am (Sunday) and I am just getting started with setting up the 180g for my herd of Clown Loaches....looks like another all-night adventure  ::)
