capping off/plugging a bulk head?
« on: January 15, 2013, 06:56:39 PM »
I have figures out that the tank I am working with, I am not going to use the bulkheads, I know I can take them out and silicone glass over the holes, but I am looking for other options if any?

Since these bulk heads are a weird size, and I would have to cut of the barbed part I'm not sure I can just go to home depot and get a cap.

SO what could I stick inside the bulkhead that would make it water tight?

Well after a little R&D, I am going to go to the depot with what I have and I think I might have come up with a solution, we will see. Stay tuned LOL

I was going to say I might have some caps depending on the size.

If the bulkhead you have is a strange size fitting, you could always buy another bulkhead that also has a matching cap to pair with it so long as it fits the size hole already drilled in the tank.
