I went and got my gift Saturday

16 tanks,10 gallons to a 60 breeder, a huge assortment of filters heaters and other misc aquarium related stuff for $75 and a bag of Dvd's

So much stuff my ranger was filled (bed, extended cab and the frt seat) I was driving with my shoulder pressed against the door because I had no more room, i literally was dumping stuff inside the tanks and into the bed because i couldn't keep the boxs because of no room. Yes it was another deal of a lifetime, someone was moving and had to get rid of it ASAP

I got tons of great "non-fish" related stuff, but I did get some great fish related things as well. ...

Lifeguard Temp Alert digital thermometer
Battery powered sand vac (tried it and LOVE it!) makes spot cleaning sand a breeze and don't have to drag out the python every two days now 8)
Battery powered air pump with bubbler (for when the power goes out)
Penguin 350 filter
API master test kit (never can have enough of'em)
Some cash which will be going towards the purchase of a big tank from a certain someone here so I can start my dream tank build ;D

I got a lot more other cool things but the above was the fish stuff I got.

I got a new female yellowbelly het hypo ghost ball python. Also got one of the best gifts I could have...

I have a female ball python that hatched out in June. She has refused to eat on her own since being born. I have had to assist feed her which is very stressful for her. She has only gained a little weight due to the stress.

Well last night I put a fuzzy mouse and a small hopper mouse (these are sizes of mice) in her tub and turned out the lights for the night. This morning I checked on her and found she had eaten both on her own!! Probably doesn't seem like much to all here, but after five months of working with this snake and not giving up on her it was a great thing to find.

I received a lot of cool gifts from my wife as well, nothing fish related tho!

In all honesty, I once again got the best gift I could ask for. Watching My wife and kids smile on Christmas morning knowing that I was able to get them gifts that they deserved. To me that is the best gift in the world, seeing my family happy.

The gifts I got, are just that much more special knowing that they came from my family. I got a New watch, slippers,a new multi-tool,a cordless drill, a portable ceramic heater, a Nose and ear hair trimmer (my wife said I needed it?) and a few misc things.

As long as I know My family is happy and my friends are safe, i cant ask for anymore.

Merry Christmas to all of you and I look forward to the up coming year and getting to know more of you and enjoy this great hobby even more

I also received CorelDraw X6.  It is fish related because if I can figure out how to use it I'll be able to create things for our newsletters and other various emails.   :)

i found the very rare Neolamprologus brichardi at stingray bay that i will try to breed in 2013. it has to be worth mega bap points.  this is after i talked to the boys at fantastic fins in which they tried to get some ikolas trophs but when i went to pick them up he said they wer too small so he didnt buy from his breeder. i know i can just wait for the auction some one usually have ikolas. the brichardi are really to just cycle the tank and be left as dithers. And like the others have said the blessing of this season is giving and not always looking to receive. I thank my Saviour for my family and friends and to have a sound mind and body.
