I almost went with it, mainly because of laziness,  but PVC is inexpensive itself&  would IMO be easier to fix if something failed.

are you talking about using vinyl tubing to run your whole central air, or are you talking about just from the valves to the air stones?

The reason I ask Is there is silicone tubing out there now, and its nice because it doesn't dry out like vinyl

I think you will need pvc on the straightways so you can put the valves in the pvc.  It may be difficult to move the valve dials on vinyl tubing without the rigidity.  Interesting idea though.  You could try it and then just replace a section above your tanks for valves with pvc if it doesnt work.     Check out this video - it shows pvc and vinyl tubing.  I wish i had seen this vid before I did mine - it was really hard to get the pvc exactly the right length around the corners - especially putting it up at the ceiling by myself...

I was gonna try for a whole mini central air system. Problem is I was gonna have to buy a 100ft roll. Don't really need that much. As far as the silicone tubing, im aware of that. Found it after I orderded my huge roll of vinal airline...

Seriously?  Not one person on this whole forum has any reason to discuss the word vinal?  And have that followed up by fidhroom...  If I was the original poster half the damn forum would have given me a hard time by now.  At least I don't discriminate like the rest of you guys - I harass all people equally.   :P
I used to be a people person... but people ruined that for me.

I have deleted my comment in order to give Jeff something to be thankful for. :P
But in reality it probably gave Marty something to be thankful for. ;)
