Hmm I think i missed something... ??? ???
I'm simply agreeing that they are good looking fish ... so good looking that they are better looking than the white tailed variety.  :P

Me too lol!   I never had yellow tails only the the white tailed. The yellow tailed acei is rather common and can be easily found in most cases.  There is another strain that. Is black with an Orange tail.  I am not sure if its naturally occurring but I am pretty sure it is and they should be pretty sweet.

I would also agree the Yellow Tail > White Tail. The males get that nice iridescent sheen on their dorsal fin...looks gorgeous!!!

October 22nd.  I bet you could line up a deal before the auction.  I don't remember seeing them in the auction but I am sure they were there.   Besides call around to some local shops maybe they can hold you a few until you get down here, this is of corase if you are coming to the auction.   If you have never been to one they are a ton of fun.  I know you are quite a drive though so bring some xtra bags and water in case you have any issues.  Oh and a cooler, a big one or some small ones as you may found many must haves!

I tried to talk him into coming but he can't make it.  Oh well, there's always the winter one...

Is the winter auction the same place as the fall one? If so i guess i will have to try to plan for it. Hopefully things will work out better for me then, have to wait and see.
