Yep they all are doing well, none of the adults even give them a second look so no problems with them eating them at all. Haven't spawned again as of yet.
Better to have a short life full of what you like doing, than a long life spent in a miserable way.

Been a while so figured I'd show some updated pic of these little guys. They aren't quite so little anymore. Now are about 8 months old and I'd say close to 4" now. At least 3.5" to 4" range. Doing great and colors & stripes are nice and clean looking.

Yeah he's really turned into quite a monster. He was about 12" when I got him a bit over a year ago and I figured he was maxed out in size, but I think he's got even a bit bigger in the past year. Hard to say for sure though because I see him every day so it's hard to see but I think he's a bit bigger than he was.
