I have a question. If you saw someone in a neighbor's house (they are not living there as they have just bought it and are having it remodeled) at 3:00 am walking around with a flashlight...What would you do? I'll wait for replies. Before I say what I did and what happened after that..

I thought about it and figured I should call the Police....I called, got a recording..saying I called 911 and please hold..I was put on hold for 10 mins (I guess they're busy on Saturday nights).
I watched who ever it was.....go from one side of the house to the other, waving the flashlight back and forth. Police finely answered, I told them what I was seeing and the address of the house. They said they would pass the info on to the officers on patrol. I hung up and watched for a while. I gave up watching and went in to watch TV. Later that day I saw the new neighbors show up to the house. I went over and asked if everything was Ok. They asked "Why"? I told them what I saw and had done. They got upset and told me...."they don't need anyone watching or looking at their house or stuff". And told me "I not to come back over. They don't need anyone around here looking at their stuff. I walked away...not worth my effort to say anything back. Thinking to myself..what kind of stuff could they have...buying a house for a couple thousand dollars and driving a wreck of a car, that sounds like some thing is going to fall off. And having an attitude like that.
Well, I tried being a good neighbor.......I guess it's the times to just ignore everything but your own...
Well, the very next day..I hear yelling and screaming coming from their house. I was outside and looked across to their house. The husband and wife (I'm not sure if they're married) were fighting. I went into my house until it was quite outside again. I later went over to their next-door neighbor (I've known them for years. They told me "they watched them fight and that he had pushed her to the ground and was kicking the crap out of her. He stopped and she got up..screaming she ran to their house and wanted to use the phone. They declined to help her, They didn't want to get involved..with their fighting. She got a phone and called some one and they took her away. She was back the next day like nothing happened.
That's how bad my neighborhood is getting.....people move out because things are bad. And the houses go cheap. And people like above move in. When Mom passes I'm getting the .... out of here, to any where else.
