Gonna take some explaining but I'll make it as short as I can. Selling one of my FX5's for $89 to anyone here. Here's why...
I'm owned it for about 8 months. It's a great filter but as per how it is supposed to work where it shuts down for 2 mins every 24hrs to purge air, it does that but about once every 6-12 days when it shuts down to purge it does not restart till you tap the motor. It's got a very slow drip from the motor too because I did not get it sealed right when I cleaned the impeller, but that should be fine with just pulling the motor off and remounting it . I just don't want to mess with it myself right now. I pulled the motor off and cleaned the impeller and it was fine for over a month, now it is doing it again. So long story short...it's okay if you don't mind smacking the motor every week or two lol, but I am going on my annual 16 day fishing trip next month so I can not be worrying about it while I am gone. So I am gonna replace it with a SUN SUN filter which costs $89 So I will sell the fx5 to anyone here for the cost of the sunsun ($89) It is the complet FX5, hoses, intake and return jets.
Anyone that wants it will have to wait a few days after they say they want it so I can order/install the sunsun, then the fx5 is all yours.
