I'm not always up to date on what's going on but your not alone in the "life sucks" category. My hubby is in the military and left today for 4 months. So life sucks! But it won't last forever. I'm going to waiting on him with a big smile and a pot of red beans & rice (his favorite) when he gets home.

Mibwb, I know your picking with me and I appreciate it actually. I miss my hubby and it makes me feel better to talk about him. I know a big smile and a hot meal doesn't sound like much after 4 months, but for us it's way more than it seems. I won't bore you with tales of crapy ex's, but I will tell you that we really appreciate what we have now. AND I got REALLY lucky!... My hubby likes the simple things in life. (Which is great because I would rather go fishing than put on make up and a dress.) So for the next 4 months, he will be the best soldier possible, and he will come home to a family that adores him. And for the next 4 months, I will hold things together here and remind him that he has a wife and family that adores him and can't wait for him to get home. I'm REALLY looking forward to cooking that pot of red beans & rice!!

Thank you GrizzlysDad. We're a military family. Husband in the Army and oldest son in the Marines. I'm so proud of them.
