Tank Building Ideas
« on: March 05, 2016, 05:48:58 PM »
I have had some time to kill this afternoon so I put together some links of various indoor ponds. I might try doing this next winter when I need a project. On the plus side...I'll have all summer to talk myself out of it (or my wife into it).

Nice finish on this one, but it's way overstocked as he figured out pretty quickly. On the plus side he spent very little money building it:

I am not a carpenter, but I think he could have engineered this a little better:

This one was lined with Herculiner, but I think he should have used a liner instead:

Several years ago I created a thread documenting my step by step process of building my indoor pond.
If you search for it the project was over 4 years ago. (I'm too lazy to look for it right ).
Sadly I never finished it because I was in a serious car accident and had to abandon everything.
Fish were sold for a fraction of their worth and eventually the pond and all accessories were sold at a loss....but a gain to some fellow members.
One day I might just start over again and finish what I had envisioned for the project.

Good luck with your endeavor....don't let time discourage you.

That sounds like some crap right out of Mortal Kombat or something lol
