Here is the info for the donation I made today through my bank/PayPal accounts.
And great thanks to Gary L for the purchase of the Labidochromis breeders; the family of cichlidgal...Jeff, Cheri, and their daughter for the cash donation; and the person who won the L-177 at the MCA meeting last night.

Just wanted to say thank you Tony for doing this. If I had some extra cash this month I'd for sure donate.. Animals that are left uncared for like that need people to step up and help them. My 3 yr old cat "Orangie" was a cat that was found abandoned. His owners did sort of the same thing. His owners did not care for him and he was left alone when they moved, left him while he was alone and unfed. He kept coming back looking for them on the front porch waiting for them for a week before I took him in. He's my goofy yet best buddy now ;D

Animals need people like you bud. Glad you are there for them.

The real thanks go to the people that bought the items I was offering and the cash donations.
Thank you for rescuing your "goofy yet best buddy" Steve.
And sadly, there are always other animals like Tyson that this fund raiser was for so donations are never "closed".
Maybe one day there will be no other asshats like those who abandon, or worse, abuse these defenseless, precious creatures. Unfortunately I doubt we will live to see that day.

The best dog in the world EVER, Grizzly Bear, was a rescue animal (turned out to be the best pet I have, and will, ever been blessed with). My two current knuckleheads, Hunter and Rommel, are both rescues. I'll never adopt anything but a rescue dog in the future.

Again, good for you saving "Orangie" .

Never got the chance to meet Griz, but as you know I've meet Rommel & Hunter a few times at your place. They are for sure lucky dogs that seem pretty darn well loved/cared for  ;)

Griz was truly One-of-a-Kind.....and that wasn't just my obviously biased opinion.  :)
