X-Files....just sharing
« on: January 26, 2016, 03:54:52 AM »
I asked Mom if she remembered the X-Files and she said "yes". I told her "it was starting back up after 13 years and did she want to watch it?" She said "no, she was tired". I was trying to get her to socialize more. So, I said "well a lot of people couldn't wait to watch it...almost like the Second Coming". She said "I've seen that the first time around". I said jokingly "what the show or Jesus?. She said "both". The things Mom says...

I'm an X-files geek. I have all 9 seasons plus the 2 movies and re-watch them all at least once per year.

why do you rewatch things so much if you already know what happens?

Maybe he enjoys it?  It's kinda like people asking dumb questions about stuff but only wish to hear the answer they want to here even if it is wrong.

Just because you know what's gonna happen doesn't mean you can't enjoy something. If that were the case then life would be pointless even living it.

Steve you are 100% right. Kulasik, Everyday begins the same way, we wake up. Lol.  But just because I did it yesterday and the day before, I don't want to stop waking up.  Doing things over knowing the outcome, cause happiness.

I'd be surprised if they still only do 6 episodes like they originally said. The first episode had something like 24 million viewers worldwide, and the next 2 had huge numbers as well. I think more than likely there will end up being another season made after this.

I doubt it....the stars want way more money since the first episode had over 24 million viewers. And we all know how cheap Fox is about spending money, since they have to shell out for Football. So, we'll see. Just comes down to money...how much they can get.

I don't think they would be able to hold out for a huge amount. Anderson hasn't done much at all since 2002 except for Broadway stuff. And Duchovny's newest TV series (Aquarius) is pretty much tanking, hell I even stopped watching that one lol.
