Pet Station Closed???
« on: April 11, 2012, 08:34:32 PM »
Wife just called said she saw a news report that a pet store in Dearborn Heights was closed down for animal cruelty. Only one I can think of is Pet Station.

I asked her if this was the one she said she thought so. Anyone else here about this?

Dogs purchased from stores are known to have more health problems than others.  There are a number of reasons for this, but the key is make sure you get your dogs from shelters or reputable breeders.  If people don't buy dogs from stores then stores won't sell them - problem solved.

And for gods sake don't ever 'Save' an animal from a store by buying it.  All you are doing is reinforcing that their methods are profitable and they will continue doing them.

Exactly!!!!
That's why I always laugh at the "rescued from walmart " fish stories.

You aren't rescuing $hit,  you are enabling them to get more
