Check this setup out
« on: August 31, 2011, 01:36:46 PM »
I've decided I'm going to either get really good at football, or my kid is.  This is Chad Ochocinco's bed and his living room tank.  Incidentally, they were made by the company that the TV series Tanked features.

Those are some badass tanks.
I'd still have CA's in them though. ;)

I want one of those fishes in the first picture, just to the right of the bed.   8)
I used to be a people person... but people ruined that for me.

They are definitely extravagant which is his style, but there is NO WAY I would ruin the view of a huge tank by placing plasma screens in the way!!!

As a side note: I wonder if he even realizes that "Ochocinco" does not translate to 85 (his jersey number).
"Ochocinco" does not even have a single, or hyphenated meaning. It loosely translates to eight five...NOT eighty-five.

The first pick gives a new meaning to "sleeping with the fishes"

I agree on the second picture; how could you ruin that tank with the plasma TV's in front of it?

Those a definitely impressive.

For you guys complaining about the plasmas, how about that horribly ugly red couch! I'd get rid of that before the TVs.  ???

I hope the head board isn't too close to the tank.

Interesting, but they look very hard to clean (I supose someone does that for him) and they are not even remotely natural looking.
A smaller set-up that was better aquascaped would look nicer.
I like the bedroom concept, but it reminds me too much of the Rainforest Cafe:)
The plasma screens are in a stupid location, and red couch is hideous.
I think these tanks were done by AMF (the "Tanked" guys on Animal Planet) and I am not a huge fan of their aquasacaping.  The tanks themselves are beautiful, and
often enormous, but the aquascaping and many times the fish choices are just painful.  In one tank they put in piles of black and white damselfish, that will be a murder scene in a few months.......

Damsels are perfect for a tank immanence company to install. Over and over and ...
