40b Office Tank
« on: August 28, 2015, 01:59:02 PM »
I got some herichthys minckleyi from dovii_dan last November, and setup a tank at my office because at the time I didn't have room in my tiny apartment.  The dominant pair attempted to spawn at one point this summer.  I took most out at that time, and then the remaining out as they got beat to hell.  I'm hoping keeping them at mid 70's at the office will postpone breeding, as the only time they attempted to spawn was mid summer when it was hot.

Anyways, here's a few pictures

I believe that a seasonal cooling, mid 60's, is why they did well for me.  A cold spell then record heat.  Fry where thriving in 92 deg water.
