No, he isn't from the West Side of the State. His outfit designates more towards the East Side. LOL

Marty, yes... The Merrimac was a Warship. It does not have knowledge of good or bad. The men who used it-did so to "attack & defend" on the water. Just like the ships being used during WW-1 and WW-2 and other wars etc. The word confederate also means Allied-(united in a league)-as the countries during WW2 fighting alongside the U.S. and Britain and France (Allies) against Germany, Italy and others. (Axis).
I am not "promoting" the Css. Merrimac...I just like it.  It Was a Union Ship First-Titled Uss Merrimack Sank in shallow water by the Union and raised and ironcladed by the South and Named Css. Virginia.

I didn't shove Religion to anyone-nor-did I try to force it upon anyone.  Having GOD in a person's life is a personal choice. I didn't tell any of you to go to church etc.  Quoting verses from the Holy Bible is not wrong. But one thing is for certain...Hebrews 9:27...regardless.   
This post started about something that happened in the Detroit area. (The East Side) Good Grief! LOL

I'm familiar with naval history, I was in the Navy on a warship with plenty of time on deployment.  While the object may not "know" good or bad, it's a symbol just the same, which is why you don't see the "Hitler mustache" or swastika around too much unless they're attached to a white supremacist group.

I am not a white supremacist neither.  Romans 3:23 I recently watched WW-2 in HD and enjoyed it very much--those men fought bravely and a great many men of All races fought against the Axis and a Great Many Gave Their Lives. Others lost limbs and all had terrible memory scars from what they witnessed. I have Much Respect for them. I owe my Freedom to GOD and men & women who gave all they have in our past wars and present conflicts. A debt I owe them that I cannot repay--but show Respect.  I am not a prejudiced person. I am friends with people of all races-regardless. If you really knew the kind of person I am-you would see I show respect to everybody. Good Day, Marty.
