I would give it to my good friend Chuck in hopes it would mend the fences that caused him to de-friend me facebook.
If I was going to make it a show tank I would.....1. (Stand/Lights) Probably Attempt a home made stand. Really nice one. All trimmed out and what not. Probably a dark cherry or walnut finish. And a canopy to match that would have some a custom led lights installed with a power strip and timers..and an easily accesible power switch. 2. (Filtration/Heating) 100g sump with 2 duel overflows and multiple stages of filtration. Possibly a UV sterilizer and either a couple 300watt Ebo Jager heaters installed submerged somewhere in the sump.3. Custom Background too...always wanted to do one of those. Would be perfect tank for it too. Not sure what kind of fish I would do. Ill get back to that. All I know is that if I go that big I will be taking my sweet ass time on the details. Even if it takes a year to complete that is what I would do. I might even lean to either a large group of Mobas. Or maybe even maybe make a killer discus/planted tank with lots of filler schooling fish and rare cats and Plecos. I guess I really dont know lol.If I was going to do breeding I might make a decent home made stand and do the same type filtration but then maybe try a large group of fronts or tropheus for breeding.
Like I told you Jeff, I deleted my Facebook account. No fences to mend. But if you should happen to come into a new non-leaking 300...
300g tank? Sounds like a GREAT sump for a 1,000g monster tank
