Aquatic related anyway....Wednesday evening (3/14/12) while I was walking Grizzly and Hunter over at some of the State land I frequently take them to I was bitten quite a few times by the season's first mosquitos  >:( >:( >:(
Actually, I killed one that landed on Grizzly a few days ago.
This doesn't bode well for our upcoming outdoor season  :'(.

Man, I hate them BASTARDS!!!!

I saw one in JANUARY!  My buddy and I couldn't believe it.

Probably need to get heartworm pills for the dogs year round.
I used to be a people person... but people ruined that for me.

I noticed them yesterday as well - got my first bite of the year.

I also got bites 2, 3, and 4, if not more. My kill count is also up to 4.

I hope things dry up soon. Where I live there's lots of vernal ponds full of water right now.  :(
