Free: One 5-6 inch South/Central American Cichlid

This guy has grown too big for my tank.  Not even sure what it is.  Free to pick up in Washington Twp.

I seen that just looking for confirmation, because I found it odd that a fish which grows to 24"+ is already too big for a tank at 5-6".

Either way it's a beautiful umbee.

Well he did say he didn't know what it was, and we all know that no LFS would ever tell someone that fish "grow to the size of their tank"  ::)

That's the thing though...  it's an umbee & it's not a fish that is easy to get,  or one that anything other than the specialty mom&pop type shops carry.
 If it was something that you could get from petsmart,  then it'd be different.
