Blair,yes it's my first. Words can not even begin to describe the feelings of holding my baby girl for the first time,very moving.

She had to be delivered by c section, she was breeched and the cord was becoming an issue. Walked into ER at 2am'ish and was holding her for the first time about 3:40am.
Still doesn't feel real!!!!!

First is definitely an experience,  but they all will be.
 I haven't had the experience of the C section...  do they still come out purple & scare the shit out of you?

Congratulations ! !  Now the fun begins.   With the first you both will be overly cautious,  with the next a little less cautious,  if you have three then that one could be eating off the floor any you won't care.  LOL...  Good Luck !   and get as much sleep as you can, your going to need it..

Yes,yes she did! I could not be in the room. The situation was extremely fast paced,the doctor could not remove her hand from keeping her to "pass" through due to her position,breeched, and the cord being an issue.
Funny thing is... We were going to meet with the doctor next Tuesday to PLAN the c section..
Momma is good and so is baby.... my princess.
