Paralabidochromis chromogynus piebald
« on: March 02, 2012, 04:31:15 PM »
Another of my favorites.............got a trio from Pruess last August. They were only about an inch long and kind of pricey but I'm glad I did it. They are beginning to breed now.

With his girls.....the one way in back behind the rocks has been holding for 4 days. I'm hoping for success this time. Last time (her 1st) she only held 3 days.

They were in the 55 gal. that I had your K-golds floating in when you came. I got 1m/2f.....even at about an inch the staff at Pruess were able to be reasonably sure of sex and it worked out great. The females have a little more of a yellow/green hue to them versus this silvery male who also has red edges on his fins and tail.

The male is truly AWESOME!  The female vics that you have are really attractive fish also.  Best of luck with them.
