Tank reseal help ?
« on: June 02, 2014, 04:07:47 PM »
I have a 72"X24"x24" Glass Aquarium that I believe it is in need of a resale It leaks when it's full So I have reason to believe the breach in the seal is up high in a corner pf the tank. .Its older but the glass is in nice condition No chips warping Exedra Should I pay to have this done or try it myself I'm not scared of collapsing the tank shaving the seals and cleaning the glass well I'm just nervous about putting it back together Any tips would be helpful I have never done this beforBut might consider doing it myself Let me know what you think If its a good or bad idea to do this never had doing beforee

One tip I would offer is to make sure you remove every last trace of old silicone.
