2014 fishroom tour
« on: April 22, 2014, 09:51:00 AM »
The Michigan Cichlid Association is proud to present...
2014 Metro Detroit Fishroom Tour

Date:      Sunday May 18th 2014
Start time:    11am
Meet at: Vg's Grocery
(586) 978-8781
40832 Ryan Rd
Sterling Heights, MI 48310
(Corner of lot by Wendy's)

Tour Bios

Juergen Kasprick – Juergen’s fishroom was featured in a video on Tedsfishroom.com.  He maintains a number of Killies, tetras,  and livebearers, as well as propagating his own live foods.

Pete & Kathy Durkin - Whatever  is written here will not do justice to operation that the Durkin’s have. The Durkin’s have simply an amazing collection of breeding stock consisting of Tropheus to Plecos and everything in between.

Marty Derenge – Marty currently maintains over 100 tanks with a little bit of everything.  He has a  number of Old World Cichlids, New World Cichlids, Plecos, and his pet Mbu puffer.

This year I've limited the tour to three stops.  The reason being...  We will have a barbeque at Marty's house after the tour.  All attending members are asked to please bring a dish/item to pass/share, whether it be pop, beer, chips or Stan & Amy's awesome taco salad. (Hint, hint ;) )
MCA will provide hamburgers & hot dogs.

RSVPs are not required but it would be greatly appreciated!  For additional information or to RSVP contact:

Got it on the calendar.  Hope work does not interfere.

Even if it does... with most close to me, I should be good to go!

Then there are people with class that will not drink & drive, even if it was only one glass.

If you know you're going to attend for sure, please let Blair know by either sending him a message or posting here.  I'm going to pick up steaks and chicken, so I'm trying to get an accurate count of how much will be needed  ;D
