Right food(s) for Julidochromis transcriptus and Cyprichromis coloratus?

Tim ; one of the things i have found is that very often when fish are routinely conditioned to eating 1 or 2 foods and then are switched to something different it takes awhile for them to take to it..
it is not often that customers tell me that their fish aren't crazy about Plecocaine , but it has happened..i had one customer tell me that her fish refused to eat Plecocaine..came to find out that she had always fed them strictly live foods....no wonder they wouldn't eat it...
 Tim, let me know if your fish continue to not like the Plecocaine..i'll take care of it.

Thanks much John ... I'll keep on trying Plecocaine then and keep to it.  It's only been 24 hours, so I guess I'm being a tad impatient, eh?

Another food I'd love to get back into is raising Daphnia Moina.  I was able to feed my fish every couple of days with what I used to raise, but my wife couldn't stand the "pond smell" of the tanks.  I just have to figure out how to get rid of the smell.

Thanks, so far I'm really enjoying the new setup and fish.

On fish, do you think 30 Cyps will be too many in the tank or just right?  Also, I'm leaning against Catfish, based on what was said here and more research ... do you agree?

I'm not sure... I had 26 Cyps in my 75 & it didn't seem overcrowded.  So, I'd imagine 30 in your 125 wouldn't be bad.

As much as I like the petricola, I'd wait.  You can always add them later.
