What luck. Heater malfunction.

So I get home from work yesterday to find my heater malfunctioned and killed my Callochromis pleurospilus kigoma that I had brought in feom Germany.  This hobby sure does have it's ups and downs.

That sucks dude. Sorry to hear that  :-[ Was it an old heater or?
Better to have a short life full of what you like doing, than a long life spent in a miserable way.

Yeah before I started heating my room I had all visi therms because I got a good deal from marineland for them... Good deal alright. I had one overheat actually all the others stopped working one after another over 2 weeks. We had one on a service account that had 2 go over the weekend I got there yesterday and the one tank was at 62 the other 87. Lost some really nice anemones in the one tank they were not pleased we will say.

Tough break, Josh.  Most of us have that happen at one or more times.  It's one of the reasons I decided to go to central room heating.  The other is the difference in operating cost.  You might want to consider it since you have a sizeable fishroom.
