What a horrible night!
« on: October 09, 2013, 03:54:34 PM »
Haven't slept in about 30 hrs now. Damn computer crashed last night and I spent the last 14+ hrs reformatting it and reinstalling software/hardware, getting my business website and emails back online and just having all sorts of fun issues :o

Sometimes I hate technology. Anyway, Chris, Blair and Rich I lost all your emails email address so if you guys would Pm them to me or shoot me and email so I can save them I'd appreciate it.

Not to sound like kicking you when you're down, but if you didn't have a backup set up, I really like Cobian Backup (free program) + a Seagate/WD/whatever brand external USB hard drive to save time when stuff happens like this.

Hope it's all going smoothly now.

I actually have a Seagate 2TB EHD, but I honestly just don't quite understand how to set up a back up on it though :o I need to find out how so I don't have to go through this again.

I think I'm about 75% back now. Still have to install some software and other stuff though. Another thing that really sucks is I was just telling Marty a week ago that I had been working on a step by step how too on 3d diy backgrounds which I wanted to post on the site because I've got so much from you guys here. I had around 8 full pages (pics not included) in wordpad.....about 3/4 done, now...all F'N gone. That really makes me mad (to put it nicely). I really wanted to do that and post it here because of all the guys here that have done so much for me over the past 8 months. Now...it's all friggin gone. Probably 3 hrs of work GONE :o :-[

Anyway. I'll start doing that step by step again. Just sucks though it's all gone.
