I saw that too. I've seen a number of lombardoi with poor to really bad barring and didn't think it was exceptional enough to say it's got some non-lombardoi genetics in it. I've seen the stray upward bar before, and even bars that just start in the middle of the body between two bars. If the intentions are to keep fry, I'd find a male with better barring. If every bar had an upside down bar in between I'd side with you.
