Not yet, dang "work" stuff keeping getting the way  ;D Usually happens this time of year though, with spring just around the corner the rod orders start flooding in now.

Well it's been gnawing at every fiber of my being going down into the shop everyday and looking at the tank sitting there only to do "work stuff" and not touch the tank. So today after getting done with some work I dedicated a few hours to the tank this evening. Went back over it all again with fresh blades and then took some fine steel wool to the joints again. Now tomorrow afternoon I will go back over a final time just to make sure every last speck of old silicone is for sure gone, then wipe it down with alcohol. Then by this time tomorrow night it will have a fresh coat of silicone seals in it  8)

FINALLY...just finished resealing the tank. I'm "mostly" happy with the reseal job so far, looks wise I would say passable but not perfect. Since this is my very first reseal though and its so dang big I guess it's not expected to be perfect. There's a few spots where there's some excess silicone that my finger pushed out too far because I did not use any tape. Since every seal in the tank will be covered by the 3D background though none of those spots worry me because they will not be seen anyway.

Far as structural integrity of the reseal job (the important part) I am pretty confident it all went very well. I pushed the new silicone deep into the corners and laid some nice long beads without any spots that look suspect, so I believe it should be a pretty sound job hopefully. We'll find out in about 7-8 days I guess.

Couple pics....

With all the 3D backgrounds I do down there I'm use to that smell  ;D I tied a fan in the doorway while I was resealing, plus I had on my car painting  respirator on while doing it so it wasn't too bad. It's pretty well cleared out now, unless you stick your head inside the tank then you can still smell the off-gassing of it.

I'm exhausted just looking at the pictures. If I can speak for most everyone here, we can wait until you fill this tank and start stocking it...

I'm tryin' my best to wait till Monday evening to leak test (that will be exactly 7days since reseal) but I'm REALLY itching to fill it and know for sure if it is gonna hold water ;D

Started leak testing about an hour ago. Currently have about 130g in it (50%) and so far still dry as a bone. Gonna let it sit with 50% in it for an hour or two before I fill it the rest of the way, but so far so good.
