Help with yellow labs

I can't get these guys to spawn, I have about 12 of them in a 60gal. It is a species tank.Water perimeters are perfect. PH is 7.4, temp is 80 degrees, we do water changes once a week. We feed spirulina flakes and bloodworms.Does anyone have any suggestions? Thank in advance.

Raise the temperature 2*, feed the 5h1t out of them  & step up the water changes to 50% twice a week.

I have about 12 in a 50 breeder, Fry all the time. I have about 20 in a 120 tank and fry all the time, About 15 in a 55 and fry all the time. I do water about every 3or 4 days and never on time, Some times i'll do a tank and if i'm there a day later i'll take out some. Two gal some more some less. The guys above me have good thing to keep in mine also.

Age may have something to do with it.  I have noticed (and I've had others comment about this before as well) that Electric Yellows spawning frequency seems to slow down after they're a couple of years old.

My thoughts ...

- The tank doesn't need to be 80F
- Don't worry about pH much
- Stop feeding bloodworms

Tell you what, Give me a week, And you can watch me strip a female & then take her home. I did two today and got about 25 fry. And are you sure you have a male ?

yes i have 3 males and the rest are females...

And you know this how? Have you vented them? It would be extremely unlikely but possible to have 12 females. Also, stop feeding the blood worms. These cichlids do not need them...and it could lead to problems like bloat.

Dim the tank lights.  Put some Van Morrison on the stereo.  Play some spawning youtube videos on a monitor near the tank.  And if all that doesn't work try pouring a pint of tequila in the tank.
