I found these along the south wall on an upper tank
I was not sure of the type and when I asked the young guys the type they did not know
I came back today to pick up the tanks I bought and I asked the owner.
He said that when he bought them they were listed as Reds
I will try to take some photos or bring one to the meeting (the good thing about being 2 miles away
They are young and the stripes have a redish hue and white color on the lower body
As you may know I have picked up some different fronts lately John's colony, the neon blues from the auction (I won) and these, They are all in their own tanks so no mixing

Oh OK, I remember seeing unlabeled Fronts. (South wall, top row,  3rd tank from the left)

You'll have to start a progression thread ;)

Yeah definitely. I've read about them but never actually seen any Red variants.

Not to be a stick in the mud, but I believe they are cross breed with another Cichlid to get the red color.  I'm a member on cyphos.com and they speak very ill of these fish.

Are these a natural variant from a certain collection point or an off-colored Front due to selective breeding?

From what I've read they COULD be line bred Burundi

I'm with Blair, I've seen the info, no doubt it's a hot topic, could be either or, the true hardcore Front keepers don't speak highly of them though. Still interesting in it's own right.
