Everyone is in the tank and happy, except the afra cobue, larger mainganos and four of the rusties are in buckets while I try to make up my mind. Can you tell, I am usually the queen of returns?
* My regrets: the beautiful pair of Red Empress and group of Deep Water Haps - should've won those
Well I got a little carried away. For my 65 gallon I purchased:2 syn. petricola cats (small)5 cynotilapia afra cobue (am hoping the males yellow up more or else I am going to be in trouble with my saulosi when they mature-not sure if I should keep these but I want to)9 rusty cichlids (from two different breeders, I may just keep the 5 with brighter coloring)5 acei yellow tail (will probably keep three when they are fully grown)14 mainganos (8 small/6 large, I may just have to keep the smaller ones - don't be mad at me Ron!)I already have 7 small saulosi and 3 small bn plecos in the tank so I am going to need to assess the situation and decide which need to go to new homes. Picked up a pair of plecos labeled as L201 inspector but based on PlanetCatfish pics I think they may be Hypancistrus contradens instead. Regardless, I really like their coloration and hope to get them breeding after I get some 20s set up next week to give them more space.

I'd love to, but I am an eclectic person when it comes to hobbies so I don't want to stretch myself too thin. Once I'm not such a cichlid newb I'm sure I will expand. And if I set up a second tank, it will definitely be for Malawi Peacocks, not more Mbuna.
