SeaWorld - Roseville
« on: January 03, 2013, 10:32:53 AM »
New owners fairly recently.

Cleaned up a lot since I was last in there.  But the fish selection is now very small.  Same room and all, just way less fish.  And the tanks they have, only have a few fish in them.  They really need to bump up the fish stock.

Biggest mistake... they got rid of the two 500 gallon display tanks.  I can not think of a good reason for this.

Agreed - stopped in there 3 weeks ago, not too many Cichlids at all.. they did have a bunch of cute puppies running around !

I don't think the puppies would like a cichlid tank very much.

I was just in Sea World.  Bought some baby brine shrimp for my fry.  They had a good selection of Cichlids this time.

To me, the fish are all on par as far as price goes.  Nothing great, nothing bad.  But, they just made horrible use of space when they redid the fish room.  Could easily have double the tanks that are currently there.

Fish stock... a little bit of everything from what I have seen.

Oh, and they should have never got rid of the two 500 gallon tanks.  Big mistake in my book.

(I know I already said this once)

This is before I saw the selection at Kee's.  Sea World is weak in comparison.  I tend to ignore the African side of the hobby as well, so keep that in mind in the future.

OK, I had to give them another shot.  I saw very little as far as cichlids go.

Just in there the other day and Sure there dry good selection is rather large, there prices are way up there and there fish selection is by far the worst on the east side, it reminds me of a Very clean Greenwoods. Trying to sell everything thing that falls under the category pet's and then everything else under the sun.
