Additional Species
« on: December 30, 2012, 11:01:08 PM »
Looking for some ideas.  Looking to change up a species from my 75 gallon.  Currently have a breeding group of yellow labs, breeding group of German reds, and a breeding group of Alhi.  This tank also has a single pair of pundimalla nyereri mwanza gulf.  I relocated my breeding group of rusties to my 125 gallon downstairs.  Would like to add a group of four or five more fish.  Looking for species suggestions.

Tank is currently filtered by two emperor 400's and a fluval 405.

Might help if you post which species are already being kept in other tanks ;)

3.  Snow white Socolofi  $5.00 ea

How big are the Ngara black Acei?  Also, would they be two aggressive for my 75 with my yellow labs, German reds and Alhi breeding groups?

Haplochromis sp. "red tail sheller"

I thought about those too.  Bruce had some smaller ones at his shop I keep eyeing.  They are a nice looking vic.

I had a small group of white tail acei for a little. They seemed to be right about the same aggression as the yellow tail acei but mine seemed to occupy the lower half of the tank more than the yellow tails do
55 gallon PS. williamsi north, elongatus chewere and syndontis petricola

40 breeder synodontis petricola with an asian twist. A pair of chinese vermillion gobies and a trio of betta splendens.

40 breeder soon to be salty fish with live rock, possibly adding some lps and soft corals after

I have a Ngara Acei group. They're about 5-6" & look pretty much maxed out.
