Apistogramma cf. agassizi 'netz' [alenquer] eggs are laid, no fry yet.  I picked these up about two weeks ago from Dave/nismosky here on MCA.

Very excited to report the first spawn in many years for my group of Cyathopharynx foai Helembe green (featherfins)!  I've had this group for maybe five years and no indications of interest in spawning until about two or three months ago.  Tonight, there's a female holding a large number of eggs.  I hope they are fertile.

Congrats!  That's a long time to wait.  What size are the parents now?

Thanks Dan, yes it's been a long time coming.  The original group I bought at about 1 1/2" and they were beginning to produce small batches of fry at less than 3".  These are their grandchildren and they've taken forever to get to this first spawn.  The females are four inches or more and the two larger males are 7" and 6" respectively and even prettier than the commercial pics this evening!

Thanks, Josh.  You can't believe the colors in the two large males!  Fingers crossed on the fry.

Little update, only one Pseudo Polit that I can see still in the fry saver, the 7 OB Red Zebra's are all doing well,  and yesterday I finally moved my OB Peacock to her own 10gallon and she spit instantly 8 little fully developed free swimming fry, 2 of which are Albino... Very cool to see those little guys swimming arround. Now I just have to wait for my Ngara White Tail to spit ;D ;D
