I believe the Tigers will Lose the WS in either 4-or-5 games. Their poor hitting and non-ability to get runs home--have caused this disaster!! It would not surprise me if the Giants won the next 2-games straight in Detroit.  >:( At least it will be over. The Tigers would have to Win 4-straight games to win the WS...I just don't see that happening--their present state of play would surely confirm it.  :(

Series is 2-0 and it's best of 7 so they don't need to win 4 in a row yet. The way they played the first pair does not give me much confidence, and with no real closer besides Coke to fill the shoes that is a tough one as well. But with that said I never give up on my Tigers. Most people counted us out when we were 6 games back in late summer and we went on to win the division/ALCS. That's one thing about baseball anything can happen.

This year we have been a streaky team. We get on these hot hitting streaks and roll over teams. Or like right now we get on these non hitting streaks and they couldn't hit a ball off a Tee ??? But that all can change at the drop of a hat so lets just hope game three starts out with a couple good hits at the top of the lineup with AJ and maybe that will wake up Cabby and Prince and start the ball rolling to take these next home games.

I'm not throwin' in the towel just yet ;) ;D

GAME 3

This is a must win in my opinion. Our Tigers are already in a tight spot but I sure don't want to see them in a spot where they have to win 4 in a row if they lose again tonight.
I totally agree Steve, they have been very inconsistent this season and hopefully our bats will get busy tonight.

Game 3 thru three...first and third innings Tigers have runners at first and second with one out. Both times hit into double plays.

Hate to say it, but stick a fork in em... THERE DONE!!!!

Bottom of the fifth...bases loaded, one out... Tigers do it again, a strike out and Cabrera pops up.

If I wasn't at work listening to this on the radio, I would be home watching paint dry and enjoying that a great deal more then this game!!

I believe the sports reporter said that the batting/hitting average for the Tigers in the WS was 165...quite poor....very similar to when they lost in 2006.....then I think it was 144...for some odd reason--they just "self-destruct" in the World Series and they are seriously No-Match for the Powerful Giants Team....the Giants...get the game--won--!!

I got so disgusted after that second double play....I went to bed!!!

If they don't snap out of this and don't get their bats working, they will be swept.

** You didn't miss anything...2-straight games--they have been shut-out 2-0--this series was over when it started in S.F.  >:( **

GAME 4

Let's hope this is NOT the final game of the series.
Sherzer is looking good in the 1st inning....good control and speed.

Agreed, but the best pitching is nothing without the bats waking up. Let's hope they do tonight.

LOL, that was my next comment...wanted to wait to see what they did in the bottom of the 1st.
