They're looking great. Seeing some great color for their size.

I hope to do a similar Male Peacock Tank in the future...but I don't think the woodwork will look as nice as yours.  ???

Great Tank!!!

That looks amazing!
You took it to an art form, truly speechless at what you have accomplished.

Figured I'd post some pics of how it looks now which I really like the natural look it finally took on. And the Peacocks found that it tastes pretty good as well as they have been grazing on it the past month. Not as much as the Mbuna do in my other tank, but I see them grazing every once in awhile.

I've been very carefully what I put in this tank, today I added two four inch Snyo cats. They are doing well.

Been watching them, at times, they are really hiding tonight a lot . Making me think it was $34 not well spent lol

My limited experience with synos - they will be out more as they get bigger and as they get used to the tank.  But that was them in an oddball tank with bichir, brown knife, leaf fish, etc.  Not sure about with Africans as I'm sure they're more active than the fish I've mixed synos with to date.  I know they occur together in the wild and hope to try some myself in the near future.

My synodontis are pretty calm and hidden unless its feeding time... then look out!!!

I have two in the 85 gallon with the Peococks and two in the 140 with the mix.

Looks great Steve!  I lol'd at the last pic with the cat.  He/she has some new play mates.

Thats great.  My cat sits on a side table and watches the"Fish TV" channel all the time.

I believe Synos like to be in groups so adding some more might help.

There's actually a total of four synos in the tank, I already had a pair of Angelicus X Eupterus Hybrids in it so added this pair of Synodontis multipunctatus recently just to give the first pair some company. They are coming out a bit more now. Still a bit skittish with the lights on but I'm starting to see them every once in a while during the day now 8)
