Ugh, people get up this early?
« on: September 06, 2011, 09:10:42 AM »
I'm self employed, so I don't have to get up early too often.  Until now.....   My son started school today, so I have to wake up at the ungodly hour of 7:30!

I normally go to bed around 2:30am, so I can already foresee some days where we're running out the door 10 minutes before school starts!

7:30am?!

Isn't there a saying "Never let the sun catch you sleeping"?  ;D

I luckily work a job with "flex time" hours, but I still get up as early as 4:30am on a regular basis.

... Then again I have a hard time staying up "late" - say 10:30-11pm. Think I hit the sack at ~9:30pm last night.  :-[

Maybe this thread should have had a poll?

7:30 isn't early.  I get up every morning at 5 without an alarm.  Well unless I am hung over then it is more like 7 or 8.

That's just not right!  If I'm up at 5am its because I haven't gone to bed yet.

About time Marty for you to get up early. Waking up at 10am I never understood. Since I work 12am till 8am I can give you a wake up call at 6am if you like :D

Yes I am hourly.  If there is any whining I promise you it stops after the original 8 hours are done.  In fact after 8 I'll stay on forever without a single peep, just keep the big clock ticking!    And yes sometimes I think it is killing me.  But when the check comes in...... I get over it real fast.  Gottoa work the O.T. when you can get it.  And believe me it comes when you least want it to but like I said when the big clock starts ticking, sign me up boss I am on the way.
