Fluidized sand filter
« on: March 17, 2016, 05:48:00 PM »
Has anyone tried to use a couple of air stones to fluidize the sand and not a pump? If so how did it work and what type of sand did you use to work the best?

I've never built one, but I've looked into it on numerous occasions. You need higher pressure to fluidize the sand than an air pump can provide. You need an actual water pump.
