pleco observation
« on: March 06, 2016, 08:57:47 PM »
Most of the time you would never know I had any plecos  in my tank.   To see them now I feed the fish first. Then I drop into the corner some Neptune Wafers and back away.  After 10 minutes I slowly come back to find them eating away.   Works every time

Well, I can't say that...mine are mostly always out....I have a wide variety of them.

I have quite a few in all my tanks. Some like the three male big albino BNP ones I got from Jon a couple years ago are out all the time. Others like my snowball and L114 I think  it is? Those two you would not even know I have. They are always hiding.

I bought a L-201 at the last auction. Acclimated him to my tank and never saw him again. Lol

That's not exactly true. I can see him on the back side of a log if I peek down the back of the tank. He's living in an inch wide spot between the wood and back glass. I've never seen him come out of there. Any tips?
