Chemi-pure Blue - Has anyone tries this product?

Chemi-pure Blue looking at trying on a cichlid tank and a tropheus tank. Some of the you tube videos I have seen says it works great for freshwater as well. Looking for help to see if this would be a good idea. Thanks Rick
