Overnight after Auction.
« on: January 04, 2015, 07:33:35 PM »
So for the next auction, I plan to stay overnight downstate and come home Sunday. I did this once before without planning to. So this time I am going to try to plan ahead. ANY SUGGESTIONS would be helpful? What to possibly bring with me, just in case. Or maybe what others have done in that situation. For example, re-bagging, or setting up a temp tank, or what ever you think would be a good idea. Thanks in advance...
SKI,
No longer fishroom, I have a FISH BASEMENT!!!

An easy way to do this would be to use plastic totes.  They fit together when empty, so they don't take up too much space in your vehicle compared to tanks, plus they're not as fragile.  Then all you need is sponge filters, air pumps, and heaters for each tote you intend to set up.  If you plan ahead, you can seed the sponge filters with beneficial bacteria, just make sure you bring dechlorinator as well.
