So, I've been so focused on my Multifaciatus spawinging and waiting for my cyps and paracyps to get going I forgot about the 'Lamprologus' caudopunctatus (Kapampa) I got last spring. I know I started with 4....Only finding 3. Im betting either hidden in a shell...or one of the multies put out a hit and he got burried in a shell, therefore decomposing as we speak.
I really need to go to bed and stop looking at fish.

With a small fish, the body will decompose fast! I'd suspect that it's not dead in a shell - it's either hiding, dried to the floor behind the tank, or decomposing somewhere else - filter/corner/rockwork and if anything's left, it's just the vertebrae.

lol yeah. It's funny cause i dont think ive seen him for a while. Oh well. I was so tired last night my mind started playing around. Since there is so few of them in the tank I forget about cool looking they are. Easy to get distracted by a displaying cyp or paracyp.

FOUND HIM!....All these years and he ended up being my first jumper. I was laying on the floor looking at the tank underneath the one he came out of. My eyes glanced down and there he was, all dried up and hard as a rock. 1 fish in 8 years aint so bad.

On the positive side, being he was so small at least he didn't stink. Otherwise I'm sure you would have found him faster!  :o
