Here are som additional pics of some goldfish tanks, not sure how many more they could fit into each one and some of the food they sell.

I've always wondered if they actually sell enough goldfish in a short period that it justifies keeping that many on hand at once. Perhaps lots of people have small ponds, so they buy a whole lot when they buy them?

I remember that they used to pack the goldfish at the dime stores just like in Josh's pictures.  I  always made a point to look at the fish whenever I went there.  we are talking over 50 years ago.   Keep posting Josh.

Yes, they were parrot cichlids, this was just one tank of them.

And I had a murse I bought at the black market, thank you
