I think my Venustus tank has flukes...
« on: March 12, 2014, 12:38:02 AM »
I got a large female venustus from a buddy of mine a couple weeks ago hoping that my big male and her would bump uglies.. I didn't quarantine her first and now my male is rubbing all over the rocks and flashing... What do you guys recommend for flukes? I was about to order some PraziPro.. Any suggestions would be great. The tank has about 10-15 Venustus in it.

I just had this in one of my tanks. I used 1 tbsp. of Epsom salt for every 500 ml of water. Then I dropped in their portion of pellets for the day, stirred it, and let it sit for about 3 or 4 minutes. I poured most of the water into the sink, leaving only the pellets and a little bit of water in the measuring cup. I continued this for 5 days, gave it a 4 day break, did a water change, and then continued it for about 3 more days. hope this helps!
