fish room
« on: October 20, 2013, 11:14:56 PM »
My dad and i finally started out small fish room in our garage. Its not much room but it will give us about 26 tanks. A lot of them are going to be 5s, 10s, and some 20s gallon tanks for fry but we were able to get 4 more breeder tanks out of the deal 2 75s and 2 55s. So we are pretty happy. Now the hard part is to decide what to put in them lol. We stillhave a while before its completely up and running but its coming a long nicely.

Nice - how do you plan to heat the fishroom ?  Also - I suspect you won't be parking any vehicles in this garage....

Looks like a good start. Do you have a sketch of your plan or are you figuring it out as you go?

Cool stuff. Have you guys figured out what the plans for filtering/heating will be yet?

Lol no there will be no cars parked in it lol. We have it insulated and there a space heater in there and we have tanks running in there and they are staying about 72 degrees and we are going to be using a blower as some heat

Yes  for filters we are using sponge filters and box filters hooked up to a blower
