Just filled it a week ago. Did two water changes so far. Added 4 Pristilla Tetras 2 days ago and a Cory today. Looking to get a nice pair of Kribs so my kids can watch them breed and raise the fry.
Kribs are really easy to sex so it shouldn't be hard to find a pair. Males have a diamond shaped tail and females have a semi-circle shaped tail (color doesn't go . A bit harder to tell if the fins are ragged, but there are other signs also like the females being plumper/shorter bodied, having much brighter purplish bellies especially when breeding, and not having color in the bottom half of their tail fin.
You may also know this, but the male/female ratio of the fry is determined by the PH of your water. PH7 = fairly even mix. Higher = more males, lower = more females, IIRC.
