Beautiful. I like to do a planted take some day. How hard is vacuuming the substrate with live plants.

I don't know about him but Anytime I try it took the plant with it so I stopped and just did huge water changes with out gravel vacuuming and they are growing like weeds.  :)

I would imagine you could move them? Just didn't know if they could be up-rooted all the time?

Here's my 2 cents worth ... I really don't vacuum at all, which may be sacrilege, but it seems to give the plants good fertilizer and they generally do grow like weeds.  Also, I wouldn't move them too often (I do once every 6 months to remove fish) since it hurts the little fibers on the roots ... I can't remember what the fibers are called.
