did anyone lose anything with the power outages this week
« on: January 25, 2013, 05:27:57 PM »
We lost power this week on Monday
Tried to keep house warm with the stove until  I could get a generator
This happened at 1 am
Got a big generator for about a grand ouch hooked it up an ten min later the power came back
Ended up losing two L333 and two l191s
Anybody know where I can get them replaced

We lost power from 2am Saturday night until 5pm Monday.  Almost 40 hours this time.

Luckily I have a generator, so no issues.

Check with Ron_Teck.  He always seems to have L-333s; not sure about L-191s.

Damn Rob those are some expensive losses.

I haven't had any power outages lately,  but I'm expecting one now that I posted that.

Mine flickered twice during the wind that night but never went completely out. Which is surprising because the last 10 years or so usually someone sneezes hard and the power goes out it seems.

I didn't lose power and didn't lose any fish, but ...

Not exactly thrilled about that. Luckily a third of the pen is still alright, so that'll get use through until the ground thaws in the spring, then I'll have some work to do.

What do you keep in the pen?

My dog uses the runs. Having multiple sections, I can rotate which ones are available so the grass doesn't get worn down to dirt anywhere. However, it's also been used to temporarily house livestock such as a steer (neighbors) and a ram over the years.  ;)
